|ESHWARY COURT TOMB
|This possible court tomb, marked on the OS map as ‘Chambered Grave’, is now divided
by a field boundary & road. The structure consists of two large granite standing stones,
1.6m & 1.45m in height, surviving in situ 2.2m apart. Two other stones lie on the
ground nearby and may all once have formed part of a more extensive megalithic tomb.
The two upright stones were possibly the remains of the façade of a court tomb.
