|GARTNANOUL DUAL-COURT TOMB
|This fine dual-court tomb is set in the middle of a modern pine plantation and is
well-preserved and signposted from the road. The court in the north tomb is 4m in
width, 3m in depth and leads to a 4m long gallery which is divided into 2 chambers by
a low jamb. The south tomb is similar in plan and profile and there is a huge gap of
12m between the galleries which makes the tomb about 28m in length and about 8m
in width. Unfortunately none of the roof stones remain but some cairn material is
scattered down the gentle slope away from the tomb.
