This standing stone stands like a lone sentinel along the northern shoreline, west of
Tralee,on the Dingle peninsula in county
Kerry. It is sited just above the present day
high water mark, surrounded by salt water marshes and mud banks. It is an impressive
stone, standing at 2.1m in height,1.2m in width and is .70m in depth. To the south, there
are some fine views of the tall Slieve Mish mountains, while to the north is Tralee bay
and the vast Atlantic Ocean.
