Located north of Abbeydorney, north Kerry this stone pair is marked on the OS maps as 'standing stones'. Like most of the stone rows in Kerry, they are huge. The erect stone is 2.6m in height, 1.3m in width and is 0.90m in depth and is bright orange from the iron ore present. The fallen stone, on the right, is even bigger but thinner, measuring 3.1m in length, 0.90m in width and 0.50m in depth. Their orientation could not be gauged because of the tree line blocking any views to nearby hills or landmarks. |
