Garn Wen Chambered Tomb III |
Carreg Samson or Garn Wen burial chambers are three closely grouped burial chambers set in a north-south line (Dat Prn2908). All three monuments appear to have had a capstone partly earthbound and partly supported. Carreg Samson is the largest of the capstones, being 4.0m by 3.2m and there is a trace of a probable mound against its north side. (source Os495card; SM93NW21) J.Wiles 01.05.02 |
