Mesur-y-Dorth Stone
Mesur-yr-dorth, 'the loaf gauge', is a rough pillar stone, 1.0m high by 0.5m, that
has been built into a road-side wall for at least 70 years. The stone bears an incised
Latin outline ring-cross, thought to be 7th-9th century. Set in a wall between a farm
and a house on the south-side of the road over shadowed by trees in its own
surrounder.
