This possible dual court-tomb, marked on the OSI map as ‘Megalithic Tomb’ & on the Historic map as
‘Cairnbaine Giants Grave’, is located SW of Three Mile House (Teach na dTri Mhile), west of the R189. The
tomb, incorporated in a trapezoidal cairn aligned ENE-WSW, measures 36m in length by 19m at the broader east
end. The east tomb has remains of a three-quarter court, 6.5m in length x 5.5m in width with two façade stones to
the north. Two entry jambs surmounted by a lintel give access to chamber 4m in length x 1.7m in width. Beyond
this, two segmenting jambs indicate continuation of gallery. At the opposite end of the cairn is a chamber 2.3m in
length x 1.2m in width with double jambs open to the west.
