Ballyroe Boulder Burial County Cork |
This fine boulder burial is located in flat pasture, on the north side of a low hill overlooking the Roury river valley and Corran Lake. The pyrimidal boulder,measures 2.5m in width, 1.4m in height and 1.35m in depth, rests above at least two support stones. A fence which had abutted north and south,is now removed. |
When visiting this monument, visitors should request permission from the landowner. Please, do not litter or disturb the monument as it is protected under the National Monuments Acts 1930-2004.
