FERMOYLE STONE ROW, COUNTY KERRY
This stone row, marked on the OS map as 'Stone Row', is sited on gentle north facing slope, south of the head
waters of the Derreen River ( An Dughlaise ) in open pasture. The row, orientated NNW - SSE, now consists of 2
stones but until relatively recently there was a 3rd. The North stone is sub - rectangular in form, tapering to the
top and measures 1.8m in height, 0.80m in width and 0.60m in depth. The south stone, 2.1m from the north stone,
is rectangular in form and measures 1.9m in height, 0.70m in width and 0.50m in depth.
