It took some trouble to find but it was well worth the pain. This is the only other portal tomb in County Tipperary, the other being Ardcroney, and it is hidden in a thick forestry plantation on the eastern slopes of the Galty mountains, west of the town of Caher. It has a massive capstone which measures 3.2m long, 3.1m wide and is 1.2m in depth and it has fallen sideways covering one of the portal stones. The other portal stones measures 1.3m in height, 0.90m in width and is 0.30m deep. There remains a small chamber but it is hard to access and contains a lot of small stones and soil. Well worth a visit but only when there is little plant growth.
