|KNOCKNACREHA BOUNDARY STONE
( Cloch na gCeann )
|This Boundary Stone was originally at the side of a road towards the top of a south
facing slope. Marked only on the current edition of the OS 6-inch map and correctly
called 'Cloch na gCeann'. The boulder measures 1m in length, 1m in width and 1m in
depth. It is believed the heads of executed criminals were once displayed on its surface.
It is now lying at the corner of a field.
