stones featured in my book, 'The Ogham
Stones of Ireland (Complete & Illustrated
Index - 2010)', featuring the music of
Fleetwood Mac - 'Albatross'.
A selection of photographs of various types
of Rock-art found in Ireland. The earliest
Rock-Art comes from passage tombs,
dating from the Neolithic Period
(4,000-2,500 BC), while the later La Tène
decorated stones & Tricephalic Stone  
Head, date from the Iron Age (200 BC-100
AD). The music is a composition called
'May Morning Dew', played on the uillean
pipes and tin whistle.
Knowth Passage Tomb
Some megalithic art on the external stones
of Knowth passage tomb, Site 1, in the Brú
na Bóinne megalithic passage tomb complex
in Co. Meath, Ireland. The video, made by
Victor Reijs, is from black & white and
colour pictures of all the stones that make up
the kerb of Knowth Site 1. Some art is quite
pronounced and some not.
Dowth Passage Tomb
A survey of the Neolithic passage tomb
at Dowth, in the Brú na Bóinne
megalithic passage tomb complex in Co.
Meath, Ireland. Survey work undertaken
by David Strange-Walker of Trent &
Peak Archaeology and Marcus Abbott of
ArcHeritage. Thanks also to Dr Steve
